Places available for Primary School PSHE /RSHE leads
Wednesbury Teaching School Alliance is one of the three schools in the West Midlands region commissioned by DfE to provide free training to support schools in preparing for the statutory changes to the RSHE curriculum from September 2020.
Our programme will be delivered through six, one-hour webinar modules aimed at PSHE/ RSHE Lead teachers.

Wave 2 - The programme details:
Module 1 on Wednesday 13th January 2021 at 10.00am - 11.30am
"The Big Picture/ programme/ curriculum planning".
Module 2 on Wednesday 27th January 2021 at 10.00am - 11.30am
"Teaching RSE/ PSHE/ Pedagogy/ Mental Health focus".
Module 3 on Wednesday 10th February 2021 at 10.00am - 11.30am
"Puberty and the Changing Adolescent Body" - year 5/6 teachers may join this session, numbers permitting.
Module 4 on Wednesday 24th February 2021 at 10.00am - 11.30am
"Respectful Relationships/ Online Relationships".
Module 5 on Wednesday 10th March 2021 at 10.00am - 11.30am
"Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco".
Module 6 on Wednesday 17th March 2021 at 10.00am - 11.30am
"Being Safe and Way Forward".
At the end of the programme you will be sent an evaluation form to complete.
Wave 2 (digital support)
Initial briefing webinar outlining the project and modules. Schools/ participants will then be given access to the online resources via the TS password protected page. If any of these participants wish to swap to full support, they can, places permitting.

WTSA has developed an immersive central programme of support for schools to:
· support delivery of these subjects.
· improve teacher access to resources.
· improve subject knowledge.
· build confidence including a focus on tools to improve schools' practice.
· provide course materials that have been developed to support lead teachers, non-specialist teachers and schools to develop training materials that are suited to their needs.
