School Direct
School Direct is a programme that was initially proposed in the 2011 Department for Education (DfE) ITT Strategy paper ‘Training Our Next Generation of Outstanding Teachers’. It allows schools to take a leading role in ITT (Initial teacher Training) whilst working in partnership with an accredited ITT provider to help deliver this.
School Direct and Wednesbury Teaching School Alliance
We offer a School Direct Tuition Programme - This is open to all graduates and is funded by tuition fees paid by the trainee, who may receive a bursary from the Teaching Agency (TA).
